Group Exercise Class Descriptions

On the Ball!

Exercise with the stability ball! This class is excellent for improving functional strength, core stability, flexibility, balance and posture. The stability ball is simple to use, effective and enjoyable. Get on the ball!

Yoga

A choreographed sequence of postures that flow into one another, building strength, unwinding tight joints, and loosening muscles.

Kick, Strike & Strength

An intermediate to advanced cardio class inspired by sports training, innovative fitness practices and martial arts techniques.

Ab ATTACK

Fifteen minutes of concentrated abdominal work to strengthen and define the abdominal area. Class will incorporate the use of a variety of different equipment such as stability balls and weights,.

Zumba

Zumba fuses hypontic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves with Latin flavor in this dynamic workout. The routine features interval training where fast and slow rythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Pool (Young at Heart)

An aqua class for the mature adult who wishes to remain fit and active. Special consideration is given to arthA one-hour low-impact water fitness class that focuses on basic moves and patterns to condition muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase range of motion.ritic joints and structural limitations.

A one-hour low-impact water fitness class that focuses on basic moves and patterns to condition muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase range of motion.

Silver Sneakers

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Spinning

Class incorporates jumps, flats, sprints, runs, climbs, and recovery sections all done with resistance work. The class will focus on fat expenditure and improving aerobic capacity.
