COVID-19 Update:

Temporary Hours of Operation

Mon-Thu: 4:30am - 8:30pm
Fri: 4:30am - 7:30pm
Sat & Sun: 7:00am - 1:00pm

The health and well-being of our members and staff remains our top priority as we re-open. We have implemented extensive cleaning and disinfecting protocols, and we will need you to help us maintain a safe and healthy facility.

As we navigate through the reopening of our locations, there will be some new things to expect during each phase. Amenities and programming have changed temporarily and will follow governmental orders and guidelines. We appreciate your help and understanding as we work through this time together.

All guidelines will be evaluated weekly and will continue to follow guidelines of the State legislature as well as local Public Health Guidelines. Please be sure to stay updated with us via our website, all social media platforms and in the Club for continued updates during our re-opening and beyond.

Health & Safety at Fitness First

Here’s what you can expect upon your return:

  • Per CDC guidance, anyone that exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 including a temperature of 100.0° F (38° C), cough or shortness of breath or persistent sneezing will not be permitted to enter the facility. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to our facility for a minimum of 14 days or until you test negative.
  • Members will be required to wear face masks when entering and exiting the facility as well as in common spaces and any place where appropriate physical distancing cannot be maintained. If customers cannot wear a face covering during strenuous fitness activities, physical distancing must be at least 14 feet. If customers are wearing face coverings during fitness activities, physical distancing must be at least 6 feet.
  • All Fitness First staff will be required to wear face masks except when teaching high intensity classes.
  • Members and staff will be asked to adhere to safe physical distancing practice of at least 6′ apart in all areas of the club. Please refer to Face Mask section for additional safe distancing guidelines.
In compliance with state mandates, occupancy within the club will be limited to 40% of full capacity.
  • Outdoor classes will continue to be offered in order to support the reduced capacity guideline. Additional “workout zones” have been created to encourage spacing of members using free weights, dumbbells, etc.
  • Access to showers and water fountains will  remain temporarily closed. We ask all members come dressed for their exercise program and bring their own towel, mat and bottled water with them. Whirlpools, Saunas, Steam rooms, Doubles Racquetball, The Kids’ Clubhouse and Family Swim will remain unavailable until further notice.
  • Per state guidelines, fans will not be used indoors.
  • All members will be required to disinfect equipment after use. We are providing extra sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer and will have staff cleaning all open areas of the gym throughout operating hours.
  • In accordance with state mandated guidelines, all group exercise classes will have a maximum capacity limit. In order to comply with social distancing requirements, all classes as well as lap swimming will require advance reservations. You will find directions listed below guiding you on how to enroll in the online reservation system.
  • We are asking all members to limit their enrollment to one class per day.
  • There will be 30 minutes in between all indoor classes to allow for thorough cleaning and appropriate ventilation of the fitness room, and to discourage congestion.
  • Members are asked to wait in their cars until 10 minutes prior to their class.
Lap Swimming or lane use will be reserved in 45 minute increments on the hour.

Billing Questions: Homecoming week is our gift to you for your patience and support during this challenging time. If you have a time credit for the month of March, it will not begin until July 15th. You will not be billed for your membership until August 15th. If you are not on auto draft, your first bill date will be July 15th. Members who have paid in full for the year will have their membership expiration extended for the closure.

We are thrilled to welcome you back to Fitness First.
